Akhisar people carefully tend to their olive trees to obtain table olives and any small olives that cannot be used for table olives are used to make olive oil. Throughout the summer, olive trees are watered, fertilized, and protected from pests. Olives are classified according to their sizes, with large and medium-sized ones being separated as table olives and made available to consumers.
